Hi, I’m Douglas — owner and guide of Frenchie Fly Fishing.
I grew up here in Sedona and got hooked on fishing at a young age, learning from my father.
I guide private fly fishing trips in Sedona, Verde Valley and the Mogollon Rim, helping anglers of all skill levels enjoy a great day on the water.
I started guiding because I enjoy helping people learn fly fishing and experience the excitement of catching their first fish. Whether it’s your first time holding a fly rod or you’ve been fishing for years, my goal is to make your trip enjoyable, relaxed, and successful.
Every trip is tailored to you — whether that means learning the basics, improving your technique, or simply spending time on some of the most scenic water Arizona has to offer. I’m fully licensed and permitted to guide on local public lands and spend most of my time fishing the waters around Sedona and the Mogollon Rim. I keep my trips small and personalized so every clients gets a quality experience on the water. There’s nothing better than seeing someone land their first trout and walk away with a new appreciation for fly fishing.
