This is a technical fishery because this is the only place in Arizona where you can land a huge rainbow trout and not have to get in the water. While the lower section still has really large fish for Arizona what draws people is the upper sections trophy trout. The section is open to catch and release October 1st to March 31st. Thats when we plan our trips for. The weather is good this time of year there. It can be a bit cold but the fish are biting. Just to know the later in the season you go the more flies the fish have seen and the harder it is to bag one. We can’t promise you anything I mean these guys are smart.

These are the primary target in the creek and the large trophy ones in the upper section.

The state fish of Arizona and just off the endangered species list. There aren’t many creeks in Arizona with these guys in it but they do stock some in here from time to time and they do become large.
This trip is a full day. Your guide will meet you in Show Low and head out to silver creek which is just a shot drive away.
1-3 Anglers
This trip is from the bank. No wading necessary.
